Rise up! Obtain or buy hard copy everything: buy books, buy CDs, buy sheet music, buy the real thing with real content. A certain store charged 22 cents for a single photo copy today for something we needed for a music event. This is not "a care for the environment" when I get ads in my snail-mail box from the same company. Some would say it is to lower our standard of life, our thinking, our education - everything.

Digital (whatever name you want to use) is telling you what you need to read, what you should listen to, what news or information you receive, how you process information, including your emotions. Digital is empowered to tell you what is true. Digital is determining your thoughts, even interrupting me to what it thinks I should post today!

The direction of your thoughts = direction of your actions.

Be a critical thinker, not a “ditto head.”

When reading the Word of God, our minds can be renewed. We need to fill our minds constantly with God’s truth.

Constantly? Yes. If my mind wanders into what some call “stinkin’ - thinkin’, ” I’m losing my pathway. My decisions, my actions could ruin the day, week or year. At the very least my thoughts could make me ineffective.

As soon as our minds wander, they need to be brought back “on-line” with the Word of God. Yep - that book, that real live copy of what we call the Bible.

The digital version, does it sink in like the hard copy?

Not for me - I need the real thing.
